Unlock stage select option and survival mode:
Finish the game once.
Unlock different ending:
Find all the secret swords and treasures in the game
Cheat mode:
Go to Areliano's house. The house contains 3 empty bedrooms and a 4th guest
room to which you are taken. To enable cheat mode, you have to open the
doors into these rooms from the corridor in a particular order.
You must be standing on the corridor side. Opening the doors from the room
side will not count. There are 3 doors in the corridor, with the 3rd door being
the closest to Rhama's room. In order, open the 1st door 3 times, the 2nd door
6 times, and the 3rd door 9 times. If you make a mistake, you have to start again.
If done correctly, the last boss sword will appear on your character1s back and
you will get 99 pistols.
Note: The pistols will disappear when you proceed to the next level.
Collecting all of an item after the code is enabled has the opposite effect
and will negate that bonus in the ending sequence. Submitted by breeeeboi
